Play Famicom games on your DS

Cyber Famireta Lite

I grew up playing on my old NES. Games like Zelda, Tetris and Metroid were some of my favorites. What I never played on was a Famicom. Fortunately, I’ll soon have the opportunity to pick up some old cartridges and play them on my DS.

CyberGadget is a Japanese company that has created an attachment for the Nintendo DS that will allow it to play old Famicom games. You also get a TV-out jack that will let you hook it up to your big screen TV.

I can’t say that I know of any Famicom games that I simply must play, so I’ll probably pass on this one. However, those of you that have a collection of games just waiting to be played again, you’ll be able to grab a Cyber Famireta Lite early next month. No word on how much one will set you back.
