Harmonix Has A Message For Gamers With Early Copies Of Rock Band 2
Whenever the release date of a new game I’m waiting for gets close, I tend to keep a close eye at my local retailers for any copies that may have made it out on the sales floor early. I don’t recall a single time that I actually found one, but it seems that with every game, someone always gets their hands on it a few days early. Rock Band 2 is still a few days from release, however, it has already been acquired by a few lucky people. What’s crazy is that the game knows it shouldn’t be in your console yet, and has a little message for you.
Having met the guys at Harmonix, I can’t say that I’m surprised at the message. Those guys are gamers and musicians just like anyone else, so they think it’s pretty cool that you got your hands on the game early. Sure, they’re probably not too happy with the retailers for breaking the street date, but that’s not your problem.
