Final Fantasy games are well known for pushing the limits of the consoles that they are released on. Most notably were VII on the original PlayStation and X on the PS2. Now we know that the latest title in the series is going to be huge, but just how far is XIII going to push the PS3? To 11.
Well, maybe not 11, but 10 at the very least. When he was asked what percent of the console’s power would be used by the game, producer Yoshinori Kitase replied “I think the retail version will make use of nearly 100 percent.”
This of course brings up an interesting point. If the game is maxing out the PS3’s processing potential, what’s it going to do to the Xbox 360? Only time will tell.
