Wireless Xbox 360 Arcade Stick Has Promise
I enjoy a good fighting game now and then, but they just don’t ever feel quite right, since I prefer the old arcade-style controls. Tapping buttons with my thumbs on a 360 controller just isn’t the same. I’ve been tempted to pick up a new arcade pad so I can really settle down and play some Street Fighter IV, but I haven’t gotten around to it. Maybe it’s best that I held out, since this wireless stick from Dream Arcades has some promise.
This stick won’t win any beauty competitions, but then again as the letters say, it’s only a prototype. As long as they keep that nice chunky base and clean up button arrangement a bit, they’ve got a winner. The fact that it’s actually wireless should make it an easy sell. They’d have just done a lot better to get it out before Street Fighter, rather than just releasing a crappy prototype pic with no details now.
