Whiners Complain About Shit Talk During Online Gaming!

If you don’t play online games and your idea of “Shit Talk” is what you do with your buddies at work.  You are completely unaware of the term.  However if you take the leap into online gaming for the first time your “Shit talk” game is sure to climb to heights you previously thought unattainable and unnecessary.  If you learn too fast and forget to curb it in the break room with your buddies you might even find yourself friendless fast!  For the veterans of the online “Shit Talking” community this seems the norm.

An obviously sensitive LGBT has started a campaign called “Think B4 You Speak”.  the campaign targets the phrase “That’s so gay”.  Now while most of you that frequent the online scene feel that this is an extremely mild way to express your discontent for something or in some cases someone, the LGBT thinks that its offensive to the gay community.

Now the campaign isn’t targeting online gaming specifically but has made posters with with a variety of phrases based on different demographics.  The one targeting gamers is a mouthful to say the least.  It say’s “That’s so “Gamer Guy Who Has More Video Games Than Friends.” “.  I’m pretty sure that if that were said to me i would have to bash even harder on that guy.

Now some are jumping on this bandwagon but I’m going to have to stay my course.  I think some things should be left alone or at least looked at for face value.  I mean I’m not going to fly off the handle if you say “That’s so “fat guy” ” Ill just laugh with you.  I feel the same way about “racist” and “Bigamous” phrases, jokes, and remarks… lighten up.  Like times in your life that were “SOOO Devastating” that at the time you thought you would never get through them but now look back at and laugh.  We too should laugh in the face of hate and remove its power to genuinely hurt you.
