LucasArts showed a demo of the new Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 at this year’s Gamescom in Germany. A representative from LucasArts stated that there will be a demo of the game available before the game’s release this October. There are some tweaks that need to be made to it before it’s set free upon the public, but at least we know what is coming.
The demo previewed at Gamescom started off with Starkiller attempting to escape the confines of his clone prison on Kamino. He descends down a tower, brushing past obstacles along the way, busts through a gigantic dome, and fights his way out of the facility. Many Force Pushes, Force Lightning, and mind tricks ensue as the Dark Apprentice Redux attempts to steal a Tie Fighter and escape the planet.
It seems that it won’t be too long before you get your hands on the demo, to see firsthand what LucasArts has been up to with the fate of Starkiller. Keep an eye out for this demo, and for the release of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 this October.
