Get started on those broken-hearted Little Big Planet custom levels.
Media Molecule officially posted on their website that “Little Big Planet 2 is a crazy dream, a dream to allow players to make whatever kind of game they want…but like all of the most ambitios ideas, it can be a considerable challenge to turn these dreams into fun games. We’ve all been working like powered-up space ninjas and we’re almost there, but because we love what we’ve made, and we love our little sack-friends, and most of all we love all our fans out there, we couldn’t let you all get together until we knew we were giving you the best experience imaginable.”
Along with this the developer continues to say that they have decided to “allow ourselves a bit more time to deliver the experience that our great fans and community deserve.” In the meantime Media Molecule has something special planned for its upset fans.
The developer is sending out the LBP2 beta to frequently active community members in Europe, and US players can get in on the action in a few weeks. Maybe these new special plans include expanding the time line on the beta? As soon as we know, you will.
