Land Grab – A Non-Horror Game Mode For Undead Nightmare

It seems that not everything in Undead Nightmare involves the zombified horde. A new multiplayer mode – Land Grab – is also included in the DLC, and it has no zombies anywhere. Land Grab is another take on King of the Hill, but it takes place in a much wider area.

To start a game of Land Grab, head to Armadillo, Blackwater, Chuparosa, Escalera, Las Hermanas, MacFarlane’s Ranch or Thieves Landing. There’s a post there that says “Land Grab.” Walking up to the post activates the game. When it starts, you’re given control over an area displayed on your in-game map. To keep your hold on it, you must remain inside that territory and fight off any enemies who enter it. Dying or leaving the radius of your land surrenders your claim.

Opposing players are also allowed to sneak in and shift control of the land to themselves, gaining claim on the land. When the time limit on the match runs out, the experience points are divided among the players who held the land, and the largest percentage goes to the player that held it for the longest amount of time.

The new multiplayer mode supports posses and features a variety of EXP depending on who’s holding the land and who’s doing the killing. It takes three players to initiate a game of Land Grab, and all players must have the DLC.
