Nintendo Celebrates 25th Anniversary With DSi and Wii Bundles

To honor the 25th anniversary of the original Nintendo system and it’s famous plumber, Nintendo has announced that they will be releasing new Wii and DSi bundles available this November 7th.

The anniversary Wii bundle includes a limited edition Wii, which is painted in red, with a matching Wii Remote Plus and Nunchuk. Also, a copy of Super Mario Brothers Wii, and Wii sports will be included in the bundle, and it all sells for $199.99.

The new DSi XL bundle, which runs $179.99, includes a similarly painted DSi XL, but the system features some Super Mario decals on it as well. A copy of Mario Kart DS is included in the bundle, and the system has the standard games Brain Age Express, Arts and Letters, Brain Age Express: Math, and Photo Clock installed on it.

Nintendo also says that the new Wii Remote Plus, which is a normal remote with Motion Plus built in, will be the standard remote included in all new Wiis and bundles from now on, which is great considering the remote is $39.99 on its own.
