According to Xbox Live’s Major Nelson, the Xbox.com website will be on the receiving end of a huge update tomorrow. This update will include some cosmetic changes to the site, and it will also incorporate a handful of new features to the site including Windows Phone 7 support.

Here is a list of some of the new features we will be seeing on the site

  • Browser based Avatar editor: Edit your avatar and preview avatar items before purchase
  • Combined views for messages, friend and game requests
  • Improved notification of your account subscription
  • Leverage Family Reports to understand what your family is doing and how they are using LIVE
  • Play web games with your Xbox LIVE friends on the web or on Windows Phone 7
  • Marketplace: More powerful search and more intuitive ways to browse and filter
  • The update is set to release around 5 P.M. EST tomorrow, and although the website will be down during this time Xbox Live will not be affected. If you’re still curious about the changes, you can view some screenshots here.
