Azeroth Is Changing Forever, And We’re Celebrating
‘Tis true, folks. Gamerfront, in conjunction with Applebee’s Bloomington and GameStop, is celebrating the release of the newest expansion to the biggest MMORPG PC game of all time, World of Warcraft: Cataclysm!
On Monday, December 6th from 9 PM to midnight at Applebee’s Bloomington, we will be hosting a Cataclysm release party! This is planned as being the biggest release event that we have ever seen. Applebee’s will be transformed into a pub that resembles that of one in game, and there will be tons of prizes and festivities to behold!
Here is a list of events to look forward to:
- A costume contest – sign ups will begin at 9 PM and final judging will be held at 11 PM by the Applebee’s, GameStop, and GamerFront staff – come out and show us your best WoW-themed costume (and keep it PG)
- A fan art contest held by GamerFront, which will be judged also by Applebee’s, GameStop, and GamerFront staff
- A chance to win a Tankard ‘O Terror
- A leveling contest/Hoggar raid (at this point, GNOME ONLY on Winterhoof server)
- A chance to win an exclusive golden World of Warcraft statue, straight from Blizzard via GameStop
There will also be more miscellaneous events as well, with prizes going to those who compete!
Applebee’s will be featuring their usual $2.99 Long Islands, Bud Lights, and House Margaritas as well as $3.99 appetizers! They will also host a World of Warcradt-themed menu, including Buzzard Bites (special boneless BBQ wings) and Mana/Health Potions (beverages)! More information on the special menu will be obtained only by showing up and joining in the fun!

World of Warcraft: Cataclysm arrives on shelves on December 7th, but reserved copies held at GameStop College Mall in Bloomington will be handed out after the release party.
