Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Has DLC On The Way
Konami has just announced that Castlevania: Lords of Shadow will receive two sets of downloadable content starting in February. The DLC will be available via the PlayStation Network and on Xbox Live Marketplace, and will feature new areas, monsters, and completely new storylines.
The first pack, which has been titled “Reverie”, will see players returning to the Castle as Gabriel to team up with Laura, who was the former servant to the vampire Carmilla. Together the two will be “destroying the unruly evil that was previously kept in check by the recently slain Queen.” Reverie will launch in February of 2011.
After players complete Reverie, they can then download Resurrection, a much more expansive add-on that continues the story right after the end of the game, and “gives some insight into the dramatic epilogue seen by players upon the completion of the game.” The downloadable pack will also feature a final battle with a “very notorious enemy.” Resurrection is set to release in April of 2011.
