Final Fantasy IV and The After Years Now On PSP

Sony has just announced the release of Final Fantasy IV and it’s WiiWare followup, The After Years for the PSP. The latest version will be called Final Fantasy IV Complete Collection.

Complete Collection includes a remade version of Final Fantasy IV, just like the updated versions of Final Fantasy I and II that were released on the PSP. The new version will include new spell graphics and character portraits as well as new 2D character models. Also included in the Complete collection is an exclusive story that combines Final Fantasy IV and The After Years.

The set will be released in Japan this coming spring, but there’s no reason to think that Square won’t make the title available over here in the states. It’s just a matter of time.
