Constructing an epic Minecraft presentation just got a whole lot more personal, easier, and fun with a new hack using Microsoft’s Kinect peripheral. The hack uses the data captured by the Kinect camera and transforms it into landscapes in the game.
This was all discovered by Nathan Viniconis, and it has made a very impressive debut so far. Viniconis has found a way to take the depth, color, shading, and capturing data from the Kinect and get Minecraft not only to recognize the data as a save file, but to recognize it well.
