Double XP On Call of Duty: Black Ops This Weekend, PS3 Only

This weekend PS3 fans can relinquish yet another reason to be excited that the PlayStation network is back up and running. Starting today and lasting through Tuesday May 24th PS3 owners will get a special Double XP Weekend courtesy of Treyarch. Due to the PSN being out players missed out on this special event a few weeks back.

Sony worked together with Treyarch to bring this event specially to all PS3 users, in efforts to repair some of the damage caused by the network outage. On top of this, there will be a special Nuketown 24/7 playlist being added to the game just for the event. This will allow for the highest amount of XP to be gained, as the map is small and kills can come a plenty.

It was awesome of Sony and Treyarch to offer this event. I know where a lot of you players will be this weekend, and it’s a good thing. Make it to that ninth Prestige guys, I know you can do it. For more information head to the PlayStation Blog post here.
