Soul Calibur V Adds New Fighters To Its Roster

Hisaharu Tago, the Producer of the new Soul Calibur title, has announced that the game’s roster has been updated to include 26 total fighters in the sequel. He hasn’t said if this is a solid number, not stating whether we will see even more characters or not.

Tago did mention that the new line-up is set to contain a mixture of new faces as well as some familiar ones. Returning characters will don new armor and weapons, and the full game is about 10% complete.

We were also informed that Soul Calibur V will see the return of guest characters, though we don’t know who these guests are just yet. Soul Calibur IV called upon the powers of the Force to add Yoda and Dath Vader to its fighters list, where Spawn, Heihachi, and Link made appearances in Soul Calibur II. Since the game is going to reintroduce guest fighters, who would you like to see duke it out?
