Tales of Xillia Edition PS3 To Release In Japan

Sometimes when a PS3 title hits it big, Sony tends to release a special-themed PS3 bundle to celebrate, just like with the recent Call of Duty: Black Ops PS3 that was recently announced. The RPG Tales of Xillia is the latest example of this situation, with the special edition which you see above.

This edition of PS3s should hit store shelves on September 8th this year in Japan, along with the game. Players can purchase the game standalone, or in the bundle for ¥37980 ($470).

This is actually a great looking bundle. It’s the first with a PS3 that sports numerous colors on its front. I think the design is smashing, and if the bundle ever makes it overseas, I just might grab one. If news hits about it sailing across the sea, we will let you know.
