This Video Game Documentary Is Looking Fantastic So Far
Animatronic Ackbar consists of some great people who have a huge passion for gaming. They are currently working on a documentary film about video games that is looking really awesome at this point. The film is called Beyond The Game, and it’s something I think everyone needs to see.
The trailer that you can see below was created with the upcoming EVO 2011 in mind. While I don’t find a whole lot of interest in competitive gaming, I do love the idea of gamers gathering in one place and enjoying together the one thing that connects us all. These competitions are a great way to meet people, and like the trailer says, create bonds that will last a lifetime.
Right now, from what I can find, there isn’t a release date out for the film just yet. In its entirety the film will cover everything from competitive gaming to chiptune artists, which are cool in their own right. I can’t wait to see this film, and the team is doing a great job so far.
