EA and Virgin Gaming Team Up To Introduce The ‘Battle of the Gridiron Tournament’

Madden NFL 12 has fans of the series drooling at EA’s heels, and it’s for good reason. The newest entry into the sports series looks to be the best so far, with features and modes never-before-seen in the franchise. On top of this, a new tournament involving the game has been announced, and players could potentially win tons of prizes.

EA, along with Virgin Gaming and GameStop are teaming up to bring you what’s been called “Battle of the Gridiron Tournament.” This tournament will kick off starting on September 11th, and will run through October 16th. Also, the tournament will offer up over $100,00 in prizes. Players who pre-order or purchase Madden NFL 12 from GameStop and register for entry between Aug. 30, 2011 and Sept. 18, 2011 will be able to compete in the online tournament powered by Virgin Gaming.
