Halo: Anniversary A Look At Beaver Creek

So it’s only natural that Halo: Anniversary has Beaver Creek its multiplayer map list.  Next to Sidewinder and Bloodgulch the map is one of Halo: CE’s most memorable. Any avid Halo player has memories of having 1v1 or insane CTF matches against their friends (who were in the same room or down the hall if you had a long enough cord. Remember this was before Live).

This trailer has me excited and apprehensive at the same time. On one hand the map looks amazing, and in the beginning of the trailer appears to have the same layout as the original. But then I see an air lift to take you to the top of red base instead of the original where you have that insanely frustrating rock to jump on to get to the roof of the base (that darn rock lead to so many assassinations) then there is the tunnel system that I’m pretty sure wasn’t in the original. Changes are inevitable but call me old fashioned, if it aint broke don’t fix it.

The trailer shows some awesome Fighting and flag capturing along with what looks to be the same placement of all the weapons. I loved Halo: CE so 343, don’t let me and all the Halo fans down with this one. Take a look at the video and let me know how you feel about the Beaver Creek changes.
