I Am Alive Officially Confirmed For Xbox 360 And PS3

According to Twitter, the unsung title from Ubisoft, I Am Alive, has finally been confirmed to arrive to the masses. The game will be arriving on the PS3 and Xbox 360 via their respective online networks. Right now, the tentative release date will be sometime this winter.

Ubisoft has lifted this title from the rubble, and fans everywhere can finally have some solidarity. Originally announced in 2008, I Am Alive follows the story of an everyman as he tries to find his wife and daughter as they’ve been lost in a catastrophic “event,” which resembles some sort of earthquake. During his search, the  character must use any means necessary to survive the event and come out alive.

This is great news, and I can’t wait to finally check out the game. For three years fans have sat in waiting to see what would happen to the game since Ubisoft apparently canned the project. I Am Alive is not only a great concept for a game, but it looks amazing as well. A new trailer for the game has rolled out, which you can find below. What do you think about the trailer, and I Am Alive? Are you ready for it?
