Net Loot: Battlefield Minecraft
Battlefield 3 is a pretty amazing game in all of it’s gun slinging glory, and Minecraft has stolen the hearts of many with it’s blocky and creative goodness. When I came upon a video that squished these two together, it was a most joyous occasion.
This is actually a somewhat ironic video, seeing as it takes the most prominent parts of both games and uses them in reverse. Battlefield 3 has gorgeous visuals, and they have been stripped away as it’s put in the world of Minecraft. On the other hand, the main selling point of Minecraft originally was that it was a creative building game, and in this instance, you see everything being destroyed. With explosions!
It would be just peachy to see a mod for Battlefield on Minecraft, but we’ll have to see what happens. The most interesting aspect would likely be trying to craft different guns and ammo.
