GTA V Release Date Leaked [Rumor]
Anticipated games usually have a lot of guesses and rumors for release dates. Fans make up their own dates while retailers pick dates that they think are close to the actual release date. It’s usually very hard to believe a release date if the news doesn’t come directly from the game developer, but we have a decently reliable source for GTA V now.
US retailer Walmart, a pretty established retailer I’d say, has listed the game to be released on June 1st, 2012. This gives us a little idea as to about the time of year we should expect a release date. Other retailers have also set their release date ideas. UK-based Zawi had its date set during July of 2012 but changed it to November 23rd.
Someone also found evidence of a hint within the trailer. You can see in the picture below that the truck says “We aim not to lose it” and the sign behind the truck says “For sale 5/24/2012” all the while the address for the house is 2405. A date early in 2012 seems unlikely due to the release of Max Payne 3 happening at that time. July of 2012 seems like it could be right, though.
