Details For The Last of Us Finally Revealed
I’m not exactly the greatest fan of Naughty Dog, or the Uncharted series, but if there’s one game from the developer that I would play with no questions asked it would be The Last of Us. New details have finally surfaced about this PS3 exclusive title, and they are coming together to present one of the most amazing game ideas looked at yet.
In a reveal trailer for the game a young teenage girl and a middle-aged man are making their way across a dilapidated US. After humanity has been hit by a modern disease, it’s been left torn apart. The duo searches through an abandoned house looking for supplies. While foraging they take down plenty of the humans who have been left infected by the disease and eventually make it outside. It’s then that we see the huge scope of the game.

“Abandoned cities reclaimed by nature. A population decimated by a modern plague. Survivors are killing each other for food, weapons; whatever they can get their hands on.
Joel, a brutal survivor, and Ellie, a brave young teenage girl who is wise beyond her years, must work together if they hope to survive their journey across the US.”
Watch the trailer below. It’s really putting the game out there, and it reminds me a lot of the movie, “I Am Legend.” I’ve been waiting for a long time for a game that focuses on survival and not just the mowing down of enemies, zombified or not. I’m really looking forward to this game, and more details as they come.
