Net Loot: Freddie Wong Makes A Battlefield 3 Commercial

Back in October, Freddie Wong worked with his crew to make a mock trailer for Battlefield 4. The trailer looked awesome, as always, and it looks like EA picked up on the team’s hard work. They approached Freddie with a proposal after seeing this trailer – make a national TV commercial for Battlefield 3 in just ten days. Stepping up to the plate, Freddie’s crew teamed up with the guys from Corridor Digital to do just that.

The plan was to make a commercial that showed how playing Battlefield 3 was fun. A lot of the commercials that were out just showed how great the game looks, or how sleek it is when performing. The team wanted to do something different, to make players aware that it was fun to play the game as well. Taking their time in multiplayer, specifically with the game’s Back To Karkand download pack and map, they decided to go about it a simple, yet noticeable way: strap C4 to a skid steer loader and send it away as a mobile bomb.

They worked diligently and wrapped up shooting around the fifth day of production. The commercial came out great, and EA is really pleased with the result. If you haven’t seen it yet, check it out below. Doesn’t it just make you want to blow stuff up? In a good way, though.
