If you’ve been wondering what specs your computer will need to have to run Mass Effect 3, your question has been answered! Chris Priestly of BioWare announced on the official forums the technical specs of the game, along with other information about what the demo will include.
The demo will be released on February 14th, though there will be some restrictions. The multiplayer demo will only be available at that time for people who own Battlefield 3 and have activated BF3’s Online Pass, but starting on the 17th it will be available for everyone else. The demo includes both the single player and multiplayer in one download, and will be available for the Xbox 360, PS3, and the PC.
Luckily, if you have an older and slower computer, you’ll be in luck for playing this game as the requirements do not appear to be too steep. So, if you were able to play the previous games in the series with no problems, you should have no problem playing Mass Effect 3! Though these requirements are for the demo, it’s hard to imagine that the full game will be any different, except when it comes to how much hard drive space you need.
