Move Your Mass Effect 2 Save From The 360 To Your PC

It’s fascinating to see gamers who are passionate about one platform, only to switch to a different one after several years. There’s certainly nothing wrong with it, as it all comes down to a matter of taste. Other than buying the new hardware, there’s not really much difficulty in making the switch. That is, until you realize that your Mass Effect 2 game save is on your 360, and you’ve made the switch to a PC.

Now you’re left with a few choices. Do you abandon your old save, and start fresh on the third game? Do you just go ahead and buy it for the 360? It would be a lot easier if you could just move the save file between platforms. Unfortunately that isn’t possible. Not without a bit of hacking, at least.

One redditor by the name of solaceinsound has put together a nice guide on how to move your Mass Effect 2 save from the 360 to a PC. It looks a bit daunting, but if it means saving your character, it’s worth the effort.
