Here’s A Look At TERA’s Elin Race

We’ve already taken a glance at the Castanics in the upcoming MMO, TERA, but that was only one of the game’s many types of playable races. This time we’re diving a bit deeper and giving some time to one of the game’s smaller races – the Elin. Through their eyes we get to see that the world of TERA can be perceived many different ways.

The Elin are a halfling race that are considered “magical environmentalists that frequently communicate with deities.” They have one driving goal: if it’s not good for nature, stop it. They’re much older and wiser than they appear, and join with forces of nature and mortal races to sweep their enemies from the battlefield. Their speech is often dark, forthright, and otherworldly, and their sense of humor can border on vicious. Other races often find the Elins’ manner and behavior off-putting, as described by the game’s official site.

Now the Elin may look cute, but they’ve got quite a bite. They’re still no Castanic, but there’s no doubt that when it comes to combat it will do well not to underestimate them. Check out the spotlight video below, and get ready to choose your race when TERA arrives in May.
