Skyrim Game Jam

Bethesda and Zenimax have a big get together for all of the studios once a year that has everyone show what they’ve done for the past 365 days. Whenever Skyrim was officially finished, the team that made the game had what was called a Game Jam. This was essentially a free for all, but whatever they made at the end of the week had to be put into Skyrim.

The following video shows the “sizzler” video that the Skyrim team released at this big meeting. All were results from their one week stint of freedom, and they look pretty awesome. They might show up in future DLC, but are all just experiments at the moment. Personally, I want the weather, goblins, and Kinect shouts, as I will use any reason I can find to shout at the tv.

Now keep in mind that these were pumped out in a week. If there were more situations like this available to the team, who knows what could happen. We are already expecting a huge out-pour of user-made content with the creation kit being released, and seeing that the team who made the game is still excited about the it after the launch means that we can only expect this game to improve over time.
