Fez Gets A Friday The 13th Release Date
After five long years of lying in wait, the news that I, and many, have been waiting for has finally arrived. Fez, the Xbox Live Arcade exclusive title, has finally gotten a release date. Players will be turning their worlds topsy-turvy on Friday, April 13th.
In this charming title, players will control Gomez, a little white man in a magical hat known as a fez. In the provided 8-bit 2D/3D world, Gomez will use all of the mystical powers of the Fez to restore lost portions of a hexahedron to help restore balance and peace to his home. You’ll have the ability to twist the world left and right, changing the perspective and availability of platforms, gaining access to new unexplored areas.
I’ve been waiting for Fez since it was announced, and I’m extremely excited to see it finally hit. Polytron has done an amazing job so far, and this will be one of the best games to hit XBLA yet. On the 13th you can grab it for just 800 Microsoft Points, so there’s no reason not to grab it!
