Deadlight Is Coming To Xbox Live Arcade, And You Better Prepare Yourselves
The gaming industry is filled with IPs centered around some sort of zombie apocalypse. Am I complaining? Of course not! I’m merely stating a fact, and this is something that works. Gamers are fascinated with the idea of fighting for survival in a world ravaged by the walking dead. The new Xbox Live Arcade title Deadlight explores this world as well, though it’s from a much different angle and perspective.
Deadlight looks to be side-scrolling puzzle/platformer with some action thrown in. The entire world has fallen victim to the rising dead. The world is dying itself, and it’s just another day for survivors. Those who have the will not to become a walking husk band together and do what they can to maintain order and survive in this nightmare. That’s all they can do, right?
Deadlight has releases a new “Fear Yourself” trailer which spotlights some gameplay as well as a gripping story. So far the premise looks pretty cool. The art style is very dark and gritty, and the game shows off the more savage side of those trying to stay alive. The game is set to arrive sometime this summer, and I’m hoping that’s soon. This is one XBLA title I won’t miss out on. Check out the trailer below.
