Halo 4 ‘Forward Unto Dawn’ Campaign Kicks Off This November

When it comes to gaming, the Halo franchise is a colossal giant in the community. Ask any gamer anywhere about Halo, and chances are they’ll claim to have played at least one of the many titles in the series at some point in their gaming career. Following the franchise, you’ll know that when it comes time for a new release, media campaigns pull out all the stops to get players suited up for combat. With the upcoming release of Halo 4, there won’t be any deviations from this plan.

Starting this November, a new web series will reveal itself for the game. Entitled “Forward Unto Dawn,” it will be a live-action series that will be Microsoft’s “largest investment” in this type of advertisement to date. With that kind of description, this can’t possibly be bad, right?

Details are still scarce at this point, but the announcement alone is exciting. There have been some great live-action ads for the Halo series in the past, many of which still get played today. While the Halo movie may have been scrapped, maybe we’ll see some redemption with Forward Unto Dawn this fall. Halo 4 is set to release on November 6th later this year.
