Pid Is A Pleasantly Peculiar Platformer

Might and Delight have put together a very interesting platformer. You must be able to act quickly, but also deal with puzzles as they are presented to you, which makes this a challenging endeavor. The storyline is pretty basic in my opinion, but the graphics for it are very dreamy and pleasant to look at.

Pid is based on a remote old planet, upon where you are a young boy who has somehow been stranded there. You’ll have to fend off some malicious robots, and make friends with whoever isn’t trying to kill you. There is a big conspiracy that you’re going to have to deal with that keeps the planet mesmerized. Normally this wouldn’t be an issue for you as it’s not your planet, but this problem does prevent you from getting home, so it’s sort of a big deal.

This game immediately reminded me of Portal when I watched the gameplay footage for it. There is a powerful “force” that you can control that is a bit reminiscent of the portal gun. This will change the way you approach this platform game, as you’re not just moving left, right, and jumping. You’ll be able to go pretty much any which way, and will be able to move enemies and objects as well rather than just yourself. This is about all the info out about this game at the moment, but I’m sure more information about it will crop up as it will be appearing at E3 in a couple weeks.
