Mad Catz Has A Huge Line Up Of Wii U Products [E3 2012]

Well, Mad Catz has certainly not been twiddling their thumbs as of late. During E3, we got to have a sit down and see what is coming to market, and it’s looking pretty snazzy. Possibly the most surprising were the Wii U items that they had on hand, as the thing isn’t even out yet, and won’t be for months.

There will be a new Tritton Kunai stereo gaming headset, PowerUp ChargeDocks, and the FlipStand Protective Cover. The headset will likely offer mid-range quality as it’s not touting 5.1 surround, and will probably be priced somewhere around $60. (This is me just tossing out some guesses) The other items that have been announced seem to have been made for each other.

The PowerUp ChargeDock for both the Wiimotes and the Wii U game pad both feature magnetic charging prongs that will keep your items in place and powering up. The two of them, when facing back to back, will likely fit the Wii console quite nicely. Last but not least, the Flipstand looks quite a bit like the Apple Smart Cover, and is basically going to be doing the same job. This flap will protect your screen while it’s not in use, and can be left on while it’s sitting in its charging dock. All of these products are looking as though they’ll be available by on on launch day for the Wii U.
