Star Wars 1313 Revealed

Star Wars 1313 is a title that has been floating around for some time. LucasArts registered the domain a while back, but has given no information on the possible title, or even confirmed that it is indeed something they are even working on. The best guesses have all pointed to our favorite bounty hunter (no, 4-LOM is not our favorite), as Boba Fett once went by the name “CT-1313.”

With E3 just a few days away, LucasArts has finally pulled back the curtain and given us a glimpse at this mysterious project. The Star Wars 1313 site is now live, showing us several images of Coruscant, with the final one depicting a man holding a blaster, watching several ships descend into a large hole. There is also a link to the official FaceBook page with the following description:

Named for Level 1313, a ruthless criminal underground deep below the surface of the planet of Coruscant, the game puts players in control of a deadly bounty hunter as he uses an arsenal of exotic weaponry to hunt down his marks and uncover the truth surrounding a criminal conspiracy. Star Wars 1313 emphasizes epic set pieces and fast-paced combat with a hero who uses human skills and gadgets, rather than supernatural Force powers, to make his way through this dangerous world.

This wouldn’t be the first game where we follow the exploits of someone who wasn’t attuned to the Force, but the premise does sound exciting. There’s nothing that points us to the fact that it is Boba Fett, and in some ways I hope you don’t play as him. Regardless of who the bounty hunter is, I look forward to seeing what LucasArts has up its sleeve.
