Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition Countdown Begins
We already know that the Bioware classic Baldur’s Gate and its sequel are getting face-lifts this summer. We also know that the new releases will be hitting iPads and Macs alike. What we don’t know is when exactly the games will be released, or what the asking price will be. But now we at least know when they’re going to tell us those things.
If you’ve got a soft-spot in your heart for countdown timers, then I highly suggest making your way over to the Baldur’s Gate website. There you will find a clock with more than a day left to count down. On the bright side, at least they told us what the timer is for. Three questions are listed: “What is Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition?” “When can I get it?” and “What does it cost?”
I’m all for creating hype, but a countdown timer? I thought we got rid of those things along with spinning gif sprites. So help me god, if they bring back spinning gif sprites…
