Battlefield 3: Aftermath DLC Announced

Some good news if you’re an avid Battlefield 3 player! EA officially announced yesterday their next expansion pack for BF3, titled Aftermath. At the core of this DLC is four new maps set in a post-earthquake Tehran.

You won’t be getting just the maps with this DLC, of course! Besides the maps, you’ll get access to new weapons and vehicles, as well as new assignments, achievements, and dog tags. Perhaps the most interesting thing to show up is a new game mode, though EA hasn’t given us any hints about what it may be.

At this time no release date has been announced. However, if you’re a Battlefield 3 Premium member you will get early access to the new DLC. Hopefully the wait won’t be too long!
