Daniel Way Is Writing The New Deadpool Game

Earlier this week we brought you news of the new Deadpool game, which was announced at San Diego Comic Con. The announcement was accompanied by a trailer which showed that the Merc With A Mouth still has a mouth on him. But as with any superhero game, we were left wondering just who was writing the story. Well now we have the answer.

It was recently revealed that current Deadpool comic writer Daniel Way is penning the forthcoming game. There have been numerous writers who have written for Deadpool over the years, but it isn’t too surprising that Marvel would want to use the most current one for this project. This makes sense because each writer brings their own flavor to a character.

If you haven’t read any of Way’s work, now would be a good time to get started on it. Then, by the time the game comes out next year, you’ll be up-to-date with everyone’s favorite fourth wall-breaking mercenary.

another game that’s going to turn off more people than like it because of the dumb one liners that just won’t let up… I’d love to love a deadpool game, but he’s not funny.
