L4D2 DLC To Appear On July 24th!

If you’re getting tired of the same old campaigns on Left 4 Dead 2, you’ll be pleased to know that the next big DLC for the game will be coming out soon. The new campaign, called “Cold Stream”, will be released on July 24th for the PC, and the Xbox 360. And in true Valve fashion, the DLC will be completely free!

Besides the new campaign, the DLC will also include several of the campaigns from the original L4D. The ones in particular  are Blood Harvest, Crash Course, Dead Air, and Death Toll. The addition of these campaigns means that essentially the entirety of L4D has been ported over to L4D2.

While Valve is keeping a tight lip on many of the details about what else is in the DLC, they did confirm that an oft-requested feature will be in the DLC. With the DLC, you’ll also be able to play with the mutations, and all of the mutations will be available at all times. This is some pretty cool stuff, and I’m thinking that I might have to go ahead and play some L4D2 whenever it comes out!
