We’ll Be Going Back To Nuketown In Black Ops 2

Activision has confirmed that we’ll be revisiting one of our favorite maps in Black Ops 2. Introducing “Nuketown 2025” – a re-imagined and updated version of the map in the original Black Ops where players would lob grenades back and forth like a crazy game of badminton. Seriously, did anyone actually fight on that map?

Folks who pre-order Black Ops 2 will pick up the map early and it will be available for download on November 13th when the game launches. If you miss out on the pre-order, chances are that the map will be available for purchase through download. That’s an assumption that’s easy enough to make.

Nuketown was most definitely my favorite map in Black Ops, though it became frustrating. With people hanging out in the top bedrooms of each house and grenades flying in all directions, you were almost guaranteed to see many a killcam during your visit. Still, some of the greatest kills I’ve seen have come from that map, and I’m interested in seeing how it’s changed.
