DICE Quadruples Official Battlefield 3 Servers For Xbox 360, PS3

If you’ve been upset about the lack of official servers when playing Battlefield 3 on your Xbox 360 or PS3, then you’ll be happy to hear that DICE has been listening. Over the weekend the company announced that they would be adding more servers to both platforms.

There are a number of reasons why playing on custom servers can be a pain. For instance, if you get popped into a server that has a huge ticket count, you can spend ages playing a single match, when you really only intended to be on for half hour. Plus, if the server has an admin that enjoys kicking players, you could see yourself booted from that same high-ticket game toward the end. There’s nothing so frustrating as that scenario.

So how many new servers is DICE adding? They’ve said that they are quadrupling the number of official servers on both Xbox 360 and PS3. If you want to ensure that you’re playing on one of these, just use the word DICE in the search box, and you’ll find them.
