How Much Is A Durango Development Kit Worth To You?

When it comes to the next generation of consoles, Sony and Microsoft have been pretty quiet. In fact, for the most part we’ve only heard rumors about what might be in the next set on consoles, and for the most part developers who have received development kits for the next generation of Xbox’s and PlayStation’s have been pretty quiet. Well, all except for one person, known only as DaE.

Last week DaE leaked a supposed image of  the tracking capabilities of the Kinect that will possibly be coming with the new Xbox. While many people may be quick to call foul, that DaE doesn’t actually have a Durango development kit, Eurogamer reported that they were able to verify through a source that DaE does actually possess access to such a kit. And now, it looks like DaE has just sold that development kit to the tune of $20,100 on eBay.

Needless to say, that’s quite a chunk of change, and quite frankly that raises some questions. Is the kit he’s selling off genuine? Does he even have authority to sell off the devkit? After all, what’s not to say that it was stolen? And how is Microsoft going to respond? It’s going to be an interesting few days, to say the least…
