Source Filmmaker Videos Of The Week

Another week has passed, and during that time I’ve watched a fair amount of animations made with the Source Filmmaker. Once again I’ll show you some of my favorites that I’ve found over this last week.

First up is Final Goodbye. ArodoraaLP put together this emotional farewell between comrades in just 6 hours. Between the rain falling and the dramatic music, it really pulls at your heartstrings. I like the fact that they chose not to voice the characters. I don’t think it would have been the same, otherwise.

Next is a short film using some of the models from Portal 2. I’m not going to ruin it by spoiling the video. Just enjoy.

The final video isn’t exactly complete. There’s no audio at all, but the animation is brilliant. This is a level that I think most people using the SFM would strive to achieve.
