Avengers Initiative Mobile Game Now Available

The Avengers movie completely rocked. I loved everything about it. It even made me appreciate Captain America more than I ever have, and turned him into one of my favorite superheroes. If you’ve ever read the Marvel comics or watched the cartoons from back in the day then you’ve no doubt come to appreciate the different heroes that gather to keep the Earth safe from harm. There have been plenty of superhero games released out there, but now a new game rises to show the true power of the Avengers in full force.

Avengers Initiative is a mobile game that puts players in the tights of the heroes on the Avengers team. Released in episodic updates, through each scenario you’ll control a different Avenger. The game follows the story that someone has set loose all of the villains the Avengers have locked away on the world at large. Menacing foes such as Abomination, Kronan, and Wendigo are rampaging through cities and it’s up to you to take them down.

The game is available now on the App Store for iOS devices as well as the Android platform. So far it looks like a pretty cool getup, and seeing Hulk in tights just makes me giggle. You can check out the trailer for the game below, and you’ll see how the episodic updates work. If the game looks great to you go ahead and download it!
