I’ve heard of parkour and it’s definitely not as easy as it looks. Parkour, to some, is an art form while to others it’s a way of exercise. To some it’s a way of life, and there’s nothing wrong with that. For those who don’t know, parkour or freerunning is a mode of transportation where one uses momentum to move about terrain. It’s applied to running on-foot. A good example of this is how the main character moves around in the Assassin’s Creed series.
Speaking of that series, it looks like a fan decided to bring the assassin to life through video. The fan-made video you see below is a production that takes cosplaying to a new level. I’ve seen many people don the assassin’s hood and leather, but I’ve not seen any who take both Ezio’s and Altair’s moves to the streets.
Now there aren’t any haystacks, nor is there any combat, but there’s plenty of running. The video shows just how fluid the human body can be when put to the test, and this guy nails it. While I believe that some of the flips and twists are a bit excessive, they still look damn good in video. Hopefully our hero can learn to back off a bit on the aesthetics and put more focus into blending with the crowd.
