Killzone Trilogy Is Confirmed
The Xbox 360 has been crowned the console king of shooters, but there’s a series exclusive to the PlayStation that’s captured my heart for years. That series would be Killzone, and we’ve some great news. A trilogy collection has been confirmed for retail, and it’ll hit here in the states on October 23rd. Europe will pick it up the next day.
The trilogy will include the first Killzone game in beautiful HD, a really nice remaster of the original. It’ll also come with Killzone 2 and 3, both of which debuted on the PS3. That’s not all, however. In the collection players will find all available map packs for each game in the series.
Broken down, this will get you:
Killzone 2
- Steel & Titanium Map Pack
- Napalm & Cordite Map Pack
- Flash & Thunder Map Pack
Killzone 3
- Steel Rain Map Pack
- Retro Map Pack
- From The Ashes Map Pack
You can pick up the trilogy collection for $39.99 here in the states, and €49.99/£40.84 in Europe. It’s a great deal if you’re into the series, and since you can grab all the DLC with the pack there’s no reason not to own it. Remember Helghan!
