More Mass Effect 3 Code Surfaces, Details ‘Omega’ DLC

There seems to be a pattern involving Mass Effect fans and code-finding. Some plot details of an upcoming piece of DLC entitled “Omega” for Mass Effect 3 have been unearthed, buried in some code found on the game’s original disc. A fan over at Hold The Line discovered this treasure and has posted the text for everyone to view.

The new piece of content will have Shepard go back to help out Aria T’Loak, his old acquaintance to whom he looked for missions. Her Omega Station has been locked by Cerberus, and she’ll need Shepard’s help to get it back under her control. Of course Shepard’s friends will tag along, and things will surely heat up instantly.

BioWare hasn’t confirmed any of these details. In fact, they’ve only confirmed the title of the DLC and when we should expect it, which is sometime this fall. Still, at the same time it’s important to note that this same situation happened with the Mass Effect 3 Leviathan DLC, and things turned out to be what we expected. I’m willing to bet that this code is legit, and we’ll be hearing more about Omega really soon.
