Plants vs. Zombies Is Free If You Go To The Dentist

It’s definitely an odd concept, but you don’t see me complaining about it. It seems as though the American Dental Association and PopCap Games are trying to fight tooth decay, or rather, “zombie mouth” by giving out games instead of candy for Halloween. What better way to fight cavities than to not give out sugary sweets?

This is a “Stop Zombie Mouth” campaign, and will go on through Halloween. There are going to be millions of copies of the PC/Mac version of the game going out to little gamers everywhere. If you host a trick-or-treating event, all you need to do is contact your local ADA member dentist and you can get hold of some codes.

In addition to getting the game, there are also going to be trading cards, coupons, and other themed materials up for grabs. This is definitely a great idea as kids are probably going to pick an entire game over a piece of candy. However, don’t think that this alone will prevent them from consuming a small horde of sweets over the holiday.
