Infinity Ward Squashes Modern Warfare 4 Rumors

Yesterday the voice actor behind Modern Warfare’s Captain Price, Billy Murray, spoke with a fan during a flight to London and mentioned that he was heading to a meeting regarding a “straight” Modern Warfare sequel. This would, and could only mean Modern Warfare 4. The internet went abuzz with the news, but Infinity Ward has stood up to squash any and all rumors relating to the subject.

The developer has claimed that they’ve not spoken to any voice actors about sequel information or anything at all for that matter. Via Twitter the company posted, “Interesting news today, but it’s not true. We’ve not talked with any voice actors so all news is speculation.”

Activision, the company responsible for publishing the Modern Warfare series, has not commented on the “speculation” just yet. There’s no other news at this point, and we’ll be waiting to see what either company says on the matter. After all, this could just be some fan blowing smoke.
