Skyrim’s Hearthfire Now On PC

The second piece of DLC for Skyrim, called Hearthfire, is now available for PC! If you don’t recall, Hearthfire is all about building and maintaining a house as you see fit. The price for the DLC is $4.99.

Besides building a house, you now have more control over your family. With the Hearthfire DLC you can adopt kids (sorry, no making children the natural way here!) which in turn can help get you special bonuses. Or, if you want, you can say “screw the kids!” and outfit your home with people in order to jealously guard your treasure!

While the Xbox 360 and PC now have this expansion, PS3 owners are still left out in the cold. The VP of marketing for Bethesda Pete Hines said that they “don’t have any info on Hearthfire, Dawnguard, or DLC in general for PS3.” I hate to say it, but it just might come to pass that PS3 owners will never get any Skyrim DLC if this trend continues.
